THE SCENE: JOEY Dallas at NorthPark Center was the setting that kicked off one of North Texas’ most unique, fun, and anticipated annual fundraising events. Approximately 200 of the area’s top community leaders, advocates, fashionistas, sociables, and philanthropists turned out for the yearly Partners Card Fall Fashion Preview & Kickoff Brunch. Sponsored for the 17th consecutive year by Bank of Texas, the event benefiting The Family Place kicked off Partners Card. This 10-day North Texas retail event allowed a portion of shopping purchases to fund programs and services of Texas’s most prominent nonprofit, which provides healing and support to victims of domestic violence.

THE VIBE: The beautifully attired crowd featured an eclectic mix of chic ensembles. In the crowd, one could spot neutral-colored ensembles that seamlessly blended with prints and bold colors. The result was a festive, cheerful environment where everyone felt welcome.

Kicking off the afternoon was a lively cocktail hour on the al fresco terrace of JOEY Dallas. Patrons cozied up to the bar to grab their favorite spirit, with many opting to sip delectable late-morning mimosas. Guests then mingled, anticipating the upcoming fashion show, and shared with others how they planned to shop for a purpose over the coming days.

The action then moved inside as guests took their seats for brunch and the fashion presentation. As guests enjoyed their food, they were treated to words from organization and event leaders, including The Family Place CEO Tiffany Tate, each of whom thanked guests for being a part of such a memorable afternoon, as well as NorthPark Center Ambassador Kimberly Schlegel Whitman.
The afternoon concluded with the main event: a fun and festive fall fashion show. Models strutted the floor in a stunning array of looks from GIANNI. Guests left the afternoon inspired and ready to open their hearts and wallets, spending the next ten days getting ahead of the holiday shopping season, all while knowing they would be shopping for a purpose.

THE NON-PROFIT: The 33rd Annual Partners Card was co-chaired by Kristin Hallam, Jen Munoz, and Margette Hepfner, with Erin Matthews serving as honorary chair. The 2025 Partners Card Fall Fashion Preview & Kickoff Brunch presented by Bank of Texas was co-chaired by Kate Reed and Lindsey Marsh Brown. Proceeds raised from Partners Card benefit The Family Place.

The success of Partners Card is due to the generosity of over 750 retailers and restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, which allowed patrons to receive 20 percent off merchandise purchased at stores and 10 percent off at participating dining locations. A big shout-out must be given to the thousands of shoppers and philanthropists who purchased a Partners Card for $100 from The Family Place to access the discounts at retailers, which is the cost of providing one night of safety for a domestic violence survivor rebuilding their life. The result is in thousands of nights of safety, meals, and counseling sessions served by The Family Place.
