THE SCENE: The Brook Hollow Golf Club in Dallas was the setting for an elegant, beautiful, and heartwarming night of fun, fashion, and philanthropy. Approximately 200 of North Texas’s most prominent community leaders, family advocates, sociables, and philanthropists turned out for the 12th annual ReuNight. Benefiting The Family Place, the “Couture In Bloom” themed night offered fun and touching moments that those fortunate enough to be a part of will not soon forget.

THE VIBE: Cocktail-chic attire with a garden twist boasted all the colors of the rainbow and then some. Men and women donned bold colors, pastels, and prints, with a few offering black-and-white ensembles that elegantly popped against the vibrant colors of other patrons. The result was a kaleidoscope of fun that created a welcoming environment for everyone who attended.

After guests posed for images against the stunning backdrop of a horseshoe-shaped floral display of hydrangeas, orchids, and roses in spring pastel colors to commemorate the evening, they headed for a lively cocktail hour. As partygoers sipped on their favorite spirits, with many enjoying the night’s signature cocktail, the Bloom Paloma, they mingled with other guests. Additionally, others could be spotted admiring models donning colorful ensembles by SK courtesy of Stanley Korshak, and taking a moment to engage in live fashion sketches by Jourdan Smith.

The festivities then headed to the Brook Hollow ballroom for the main program. Emcees Sheree J Wilson and Chuck Steelman entertained the crowd, keeping the evening moving at a fun, informative, and brisk pace.

While guests enjoyed a delectable, multi-course meal with curated wine pairings for each course, they were treated to words from event and organization leaders thanking them for supporting The Family Place. The night’s highlight was an emotional testimonial by guest speaker and survivor of domestic violence, Hope Woodson, who delivered a decisive mission moment that deeply touched everyone in the room and resulted in a standing ovation from the crowd. The night was capped off with an after-party where revelers hit the dance floor and cut a rug to their favorite tunes spun by DJ Blake.

THE NON-PROFIT: The 12th annual ReuNight for The Family Place, co-chaired by Jess and Tyler Bolander and Melissa and Jamie Keeling, with Lindsay and Chuck Jacaman serving as honorary chairs, raised funds for The Family Place. The largest nonprofit provider of services for families experiencing domestic violence in Texas, proceeds raised from the event will go towards funding programs and education initiatives, including safe housing, counseling, and skills that build community engagement and advocate for social change to stop family violence.
