Vintage Racing In Texas: Here’s Where

Almost every weekend, at race tracks across Texas, men and women strap into historic race cars and bring some automotive history to life. From Eagles Canyon to Circuit of the Americas to MSR Houston, vintage racing is growing in Texas among those with disposable income and a dream of being Steve McQueen or Lyn St. James, at least on the weekends. A trip through the paddock is like walking back in time, and at most races, spectators will a range of vehicles from open-wheel formula cars to retired NASCARs. Unlike most professional races, the pits are usually open allowing automotive enthusiasts to see these racing machines up close.
