Around here we love Anne Hudson, like you do, as the sparkling radio host personality and top iHeart Media talents on KASE 101 and KISS-FM 96.7. Here, her longtime pal Lance Avery Morgan gets up close and personal with this style gal’s favorite things to inspire us all.
My personal style signifier is…Casual chic. I like causal clothes with a fancy twist (i.e. designer shoes, bags, and jewelry) for everyday wear.
A recent find is…PatBO swimsuits–they are everything. Shop for them at the end of the season when they go on sale. They’re for sure a (worth it) splurge.
The best souvenir I have brought home would be…When I was recently in the Bahamas and found this pink, iridescent, and amazing conch shell on the beach. I had to bring that home and set it out in my backyard…it’s a little piece of the Bahamas in Austin and I love it.
The last meal that truly impressed me was… I feel like it’s cliché to say it’s Uchi, yet every time we go, we ask the waiter to bring us whatever they recommend (we don’t even look at the menu) and it is always amazing. I highly recommend you letting the waiters pick for you.
The people I rely on for grooming and style are…Tiffany Vogelpohl at The Collective ATX in Lamar Union Plaza, is the best with my hair. From cut, color, to putting in extensions when I’m in the mood for all that long glorious hair. Leah Trogan Black takes care of my hair and make-up for my TV and photo shoots. She works magic.
An object I would never part with is…my iPhone. I have a love/hate relationship with it.
The last music I downloaded was…Taylor Swift – am getting all ready for the Era’s Tour.
If I had to limit my shopping to one neighborhood in one city it would be…Would you believe I’m not a big shopper? If I do go shopping, it is always at Estilo Boutique in Austin.
An artist whose work I would collect is…Ashley Longshore art. Just one quick look at her art and you feel joy, alive and extra happy.
The best gift I have given recently is… a Barefoot Dreams blanket. I always like to give gifts of my favorite things and those blankets are for sure one of my most favorites!
The best gift I have received is… an automatic fresh pepper grinder. I’m obsessed. I love it so much and it even has a light on it.
My favorite room is…with a bathtub.
My favorite street in the world is… the current street I live on. We are so close with all of our neighbors and I love that all of our kids go in and out of all of our homes like it is their own.
On my tombstone it will say…I Died, Darn It.
