Over the course of two days, the Austin philanthropic scene turned out in a way that will forever live in the annals of Texas fundraising lore. The 11th annual Mack, Jack & McConaughey not only raised record funds, but it also was the largest Texas nonprofit fundraising gala in 2023 that has turned heads around the state and beyond for an event that draws philanthropists and sociables from well beyond the Austin market.
The Moody Theatre at Austin City Limits was the recent setting for a night of fun, music, and fundraising to support one of Austin’s most notable and beloved green spaces. Over 2500 sociables, philanthropists, music lovers, sports enthusiasts and community leaders turned out for Save MUNY’s Imagine Muny II event in support of the 99-year old Lions Municipal Golf Course.
