More Than 75,000 Guests Packed Klyde Warren Park For An F-35 Flyover, Live Music And A Fireworks Finale Set To Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture

THE SCENE: Klyde Warren Park transformed into Dallas’ premier patriotic destination for the City of Dallas’ Official Independence Day Celebration. Led by honorary chairs Ben E. Keith Company and the Kristin and James Hallam Family, the venue was decked out in red, white, and blue, with festive lighting, lawn games, and family-friendly activities filling every corner.
Roughly 500 sponsors, civic leaders, and supporters gathered in the Ben Abbott & Associates VIP Area for elevated food and beverages, lounge seating, and interactive entertainment. The night closed with a spectacular fireworks display launched from both the Muse Family Performance Pavilion and the First United Bank building, lighting up the Dallas skyline.
THE VIBE: More than 75,000 guests turned out to celebrate America’s 250th birthday alongside friends, family and neighbors from across North Texas. The evening opened with a Presentation of the Colors by American Legion Post 21 and an F-35 flyover, followed by a welcome from CBS Texas anchor Nelly Carreño.
The Emerald City Band kept the crowd dancing while families explored activities throughout the Park. Sponsors, community leaders, elected officials and Park supporters celebrated together before counting down to a choreographed fireworks finale set to Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture. The event once again cemented Klyde Warren Park’s role as Dallas’ town square, bringing the community together for an unforgettable night of patriotism, music and celebration.
THE NON-PROFIT: Klyde Warren Park is a beloved 5.4-acre green space and the largest contiguous urban arts district in the nation. Since opening in 2012, it has become Dallas’ town square, welcoming more than 1.5 million visitors a year and earning national acclaim.
The Park is owned by the City of Dallas and privately operated by the Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation, which studies iconic public parks nationwide and applies best practices to the Park’s operations, programming, and maintenance.
