THE SCENE: The Post Oak Hotel in Houston was the recent setting for the most anticipated luncheon of the fall season. Over 500 of Space City’s top medical advocates, community leaders, sociables, and philanthropists turned out for the Razzle Dazzle Luncheon benefiting the Memorial Hermann Foundation. The afternoon featured touching tributes, inspiring moments, and a record fundraising total for the organization.
THE VIBE: The “Pink Cocktail” attire featured a mix of hues of pink dresses, accents, suits, and other ensembles in honor of the mission of the event to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer. The jubilance was evident from the moment guests arrived on the pink carpet in the lobby of The Post Oak Hotel where many were recorded via video to share their love for the cause, event, and organization. Revelers mingled in the venue’s lobby for a spectacular welcome reception brimming with anticipation for the fun that was to come.
The crowd then took to their seats in The Post Oak Ballroom for the main program. As guests dined on their delectable lunches and sipped on champagne, they were treated to a spectacular fashion show on a zig-zag runway showcasing designs from British fashion designer Jenny Packham. Additionally, Tony Bradfield of Tenenbaum Jewelers helmed an extra fundraising effort with dazzling Temple St. Claire jewelry pieces.

The afternoon continued with this year’s Hall of Fame members who have supported Memorial Hermann Foundation and the Razzle Dazzle luncheon over the years taking to the stage alongside fellow Hall of Fame member and Event Chair Sheridan Williams, who shared a moving account of her own recent battle with breast cancer. The festivities continued with Jenny Packham, herself a breast cancer survivor, taking to the stage after her fashion show for a conversation with legendary Houston PR Pro Dancie Perugini Ware.
THE NON-PROFIT: The event was capped off with Razzle Dazzle Chair Sheridan Williams and CEO Anne Neeson taking to the stage to announce that this year’s luncheon had raised a record-breaking $1.13 million for the Memorial Hermann Foundation. Proceeds raised from the event will benefit early breast cancer detection programs and outreach programs at Memorial Hermann.
