Recently. at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, Eva Longoria, native Texan and renowned actress, director, and producer graced the hand print ceremony with her presence. Talented and charismatic, the Texan joins the legendary “Chemin des Étoiles” in Cannes, featuring 450 hand prints, including those of Quentin Tarantino, Catherine Deneuve, Spike Lee, Sharon Stone, Tim Burton, Meryl Streep, Sylvester Stallone, among others.
We love it when our fellow Texans make a splash on an international level. Eva Longoria began her career with a few television appearances in series such as Beverly Hills 90210, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless. It was her star-making role as Gabrielle Solis in the series Desperate Housewives that catapulted her to international stardom. She has also starred in numerous films, including Harsh Times, The Sentinel, and Over Her Dead Body.
In addition to being an accomplished actress, Longoria is a talented producer and director. She has produced and directed several episodes of television series, notably Devious Maids and Telenovela. She is also an icon in the beauty industry as a spokesperson for L’Oréal Paris. Since joining the brand in 2005, she has become one of the most recognizable faces of L’Oréal, embodying elegance, charisma, and diversity. Beyond her artistic achievements, Eva Longoria is known for her philanthropic efforts. She founded the Eva Longoria Foundation, which supports education and entrepreneurship for women, and she is actively involved in various philanthropic causes.
