THE SCENE: The Omni Dallas Hotel was the setting for an evening of life-changing impact that will benefit many children across North Texas. A crowd featuring several hundred of the area’s most notable community leaders, children’s and medical advocates, sociables, and philanthropists turned out for the 2026 “Wish Night” gala. Benefiting Make-A-Wish North Texas, the night featured touching tributes and emotional testimonials, resulting in an incredible fundraising endeavor for the organization.

THE VIBE: The black-tie crowd included attendees in an array of their finest formal attire. In the crowd, one could spot more traditional formal wear that seamlessly blended in with those donning bold colors, prints, and metallics. The result was a fun environment where everyone was encouraged to channel their inner child.

Once guests entered the Omni Dallas ballroom foyer, they knew a very special evening lay ahead of them. Arriving revelers took the opportunity to pose for images in a giant human butterfly experiential installation to commemorate the evening before heading to the bar to grab their favorite beverage.

With their favorite drink in hand, the crowd mingled, brimming with anticipation of the fun that lay ahead. During cocktail hour, guests could also be seen perusing an impressive, curated selection of silent auction items featuring luxury goods and experiences.

The crowd then entered the Omni Dallas ballroom for dinner and the main program. The ballroom was transformed into a childlike wonderland, featuring shimmering baby-blue linens that perfectly complemented the simple, low-profile orange arrangements that encouraged conversation among the whole table.

As the crowd enjoyed their multi-course meals, they were treated to words from event and organization leaders thanking them for taking part in such a special night. The most impactful moment of the night was highlighting the Two Year, Too Long campaign, a new initiative aimed at eliminating the wait list for every eligible kid to receive their wish. This moment sparked an incredible Paddles-Up, which capped off a successful evening of fundraising that those who were part of it will not soon forget.

THE NON-PROFIT: “Wish Night” 2026 raised an eye-popping $3.2 million for Make-A-Wish North Texas. Since its founding in 1982, Make-A-Wish North Texas has provided over 14,000 wishes to children with critical illnesses across 161 counties in East and West Texas.
