After years of designing at Stanley Korshak, launching her own atelier marked the beginning of a new chapter; one where every detail reflects her own philosophy.
“I didn’t simply want to open a boutique,” she remarks. “I wanted to create a home for beautiful craftsmanship, meaningful relationships, and exceptional service. Walking through that space for the first time, I realized I wasn’t just opening an atelier; I was creating the place where women will celebrate some of the most important moments of their lives.”
That sentiment defines everything inside the elegant Dallas space. Rather than focusing exclusively on couture gowns, Brittingham envisioned a complete luxury maison inspired by the great European fashion houses. Bridal couture, eveningwear, handbags, heirloom furs, accessories, and mentorship coexist under one thoughtfully curated roof.
“I’ve always admired the great European maisons where every element tells one cohesive story,” she explains. “My vision was to create a destination where women could experience the entire world of the Mackenzie Brittingham brand… I also wanted it to become a place where creativity is shared.”

That spirit of craftsmanship has become increasingly rare… and increasingly valuable.
“The world has become increasingly fast, but meaningful things still take time,” Brittingham says. “Luxury isn’t about excess; it’s about care, craftsmanship, and creating something that will be treasured for generations.”

From Balance Sheets To Bespoke Beauty
For Brittingham, couture has never simply been about designing beautiful clothing. It’s about designing memories. Although she earned an accounting degree from Southern Methodist University before pursuing fashion full time, she now sees both disciplines as essential ingredients of her success.

“Italy will always be my greatest source of inspiration,” she says. “Whether it’s walking through Portofino, admiring the architecture of Florence, or discovering extraordinary artisans tucked away in small villages, Italy reminds me that beauty is created slowly and intentionally.”
Those influences appear in every silhouette, every embroidery detail, and every carefully selected fabric. Yet despite her European inspirations, Brittingham’s perspective remains unmistakably Texan.
“Texas women appreciate quality,” she says. “They are confident, generous, and unafraid of elegance. They value exceptional craftsmanship, but they also value authenticity and relationships.”

“It was one of the greatest honors of my career,” she says. “Professionally, it affirmed the direction my brand is moving. Personally, it reminded me how fortunate I am to do work that brings people joy.”

Now, she’s equally passionate about helping future designers discover their own paths.
“Master your craft before you chase recognition,” she advises. “Social media can make success appear immediate, but lasting brands are built through consistency, humility, and an obsession with quality.”
She encourages emerging designers to embrace both artistry and entrepreneurship. “Creativity and entrepreneurship should always grow together.”
