Our test vehicle came loaded with premium leather, real wood trim, and all the technology Lexus could pack into a full-size SUV. The twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V6 churns out 409 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque, enough to confidently pass semi-trucks on I-10 or power up gravel trails with ease. Paired with a 10-speed automatic and full-time four-wheel drive, the LX never feels overworked, just assured.
On the road from Bryan-College Station to Round Top, the LX 600 proved its worth quickly. The ride is velvet smooth, soaking up highway expansion joints and backroad imperfections alike. You can set the adaptive cruise, settle into the massaging seats, and feel the cabin grow quieter with each passing mile. It’s not just about getting from point A to point B, LX 600 makes the journey feel like part of the reward.
