THE SCENE: The Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Houston was the setting for a night of fun, music, and philanthropy. Several hundred of Space City’s most notable art patrons, community leaders, sociables, and philanthropists turned out for Music Salons & Jazz Supper Club. Benefiting DACAMERA, the night featured touching tributes and fantastic musical performances that left an impression on the audience long after the event ended.

THE VIBE: The cocktail attire crowd featured an elegant mix of classic and artful ensembles. Some wore traditional cocktail fare, while others sported their favorite Spring colors, floral prints, bold patterns, and sequins. The result was a beautiful tapestry and a festive, welcoming environment for all who attended.

The night began with a lively cocktail hour in the Four Seasons ballroom foyer. While guests sipped on their favorite spirits, they mingled, reacquainting with old friends and making new ones. During the cocktail hour, revelers participated in a wine pull featuring various high-end, curated wines. This was done against the backdrop of elegant performances by DACAMERA Young Artists.

The action then moved to the Four Seasons Ballroom for the main program. KHOU news anchor Len Cannon emceed the event, keeping the crowd entertained and engaged throughout the night. As diners enjoyed their multi-course meals, several corks popped, as many who received their favorite wine of choice during the wine pull enjoyed their newest acquisition to share with friends. This added to the vibe that blended formal elegance and spontaneity.

During the program, guests were treated to words from organization leaders thanking patrons for participating in a special night. The evening was capped off with a dazzling musical performance by acclaimed jazz trumpeter Etienne Charles and the Creole Soul Band, who mesmerized the crowd with an engaging and captivating performance.
THE NON-PROFIT: The Music Salons & Jazz Supper Club Gala raised over $250,000 for DACAMERA. The year’s proceeds will benefit DACAMERA programs that fulfill the organization’s mission to inspire individuals and enrich communities by offering inventive and diverse musical experiences.
