It all began with a simple question: Would you like to dance? Under the glowing neon lights near Dallas, Morgan Dunlap and Alexander Foreman shared their first two-step, and the rest, as they say, is history. That night, they found more than rhythm on the dance floor; they found an instant connection—a spark that would lead them to a lifetime of love, faith, and adventure.
A Perfect Pairing
For Morgan Dunlap, a national accounts executive from Prosper, Texas, the daughter of Jamie and Lee Dunlap and Alex Foreman, a dedicated firefighter and paramedic from Forney, Texas, the son of Cheryl and Danny Foreman, everything just clicked. They shared the same faith, the same values, and an enthusiasm for life that made their dating season feel like it was destined to be. Over the next year and a half, they spent their days hiking trails, cooking together, exploring mountain bike paths, and traveling wherever their hearts desired. Whether it was a new food, a new city, or a new dance, Morgan and Alex were always ready to share the experience side by side.

The Most Magical Question
For a couple who loves Christmas as much as they do, it’s no surprise that Alex chose the most magical season of all to propose. Their love story turned into a Hallmark movie-worthy evening when Alex whisked Morgan off on a surprise horse-drawn carriage ride through the Highland Park Christmas lights. The destination? A pavilion in Flippen Park, the same place where they’d shared a romantic date the year before. Under the twinkling lights, Alex got down on one knee, and Morgan’s joyful Yes! became the start of their next chapter.

The Grand Celebration
After their engagement, on their wedding day, 225 guests gathered to witness Morgan and Alex say I do at The Olana in Hickory Creek, Texas, near Dallas—a sprawling French chateau-inspired, 50,000 square foot mansion that made their celebration feel straight out of a fairy tale. The massive chateau, which sits on a 40-acre estate, was formally called Champ D’Or. The mansion is inspired by French baroque architecture and was built as a homage to Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte. With its elegant baroque architecture, manicured 40-acre grounds, and lavish touches (a Chanel-inspired closet and bowling alley, anyone?), The Olana was the perfect setting for a day that felt as grand and heartfelt as their love.
Under the meticulous coordination of legendary Dallas wedding planner extraordinaire Steve Kemble, every detail of the day shone in navy, gold, and white. From the awe-inspiring floral design by The Design Haus and Joche W. Events to the five-tier masterpiece of a cake by Jenny Layne Bakery, the wedding was a feast for the eyes…and the appetite.
The bride’s attendants were Alison Cox, Mandy Dunlap, Hanna Mandery, and Natalie Paxton. Serving the groom were his attendants James Davis, John Davis, Marshal Dunlap, and David Thomsen.
A Moment to Remember
The most special moment of the day? There were plenty, yet what ranked at the top was Morgan and Alex’s First Look. Away from the crowd, they shared an intimate moment to soak in the beauty of what was about to unfold. For Morgan, stunning in a bridal gown by British designer Suzanne Neville, and Christian Louboutin heels (a surprise gift from Alex), and Alex, dashing and beaming with pride, it was a reminder of their enduring love that started with one dance.

As the ceremony flowed into the reception, guests were treated to a seated dinner that matched the grandeur of The Olana itself. Then, the celebration truly took off—in true Morgan and Alex fashion—when they surprised everyone with CO2 cannons of fog, transforming the dance floor into a high-energy party that everyone would remember. And just in case their guests thought they couldn’t outdo the grand entrance, Morgan made her way to the dance floor in white cowboy boots gifted by her mother, ready to two-step the night away, especially to the tunes spun by DJ Andy Austin.

Happily Ever After
Morgan and Alex’s love story reminds us that sometimes life’s greatest adventures start with a single question—and a little courage to take the first step. Their wedding day was not only a celebration of their love but also a reflection of who they are: joyful, grounded in faith, and always ready to embrace life’s surprises.
After a honeymoon in Turks and Caicos at The Ritz-Carlton, the happy couple returned to their home in Frisco, ready to begin their forever together. With Morgan’s steadfast spirit and Alex’s heroic heart, there’s no doubt their life will be filled with love, laughter, and plenty of dancing.
Here’s to the Foremans: May your love always be as timeless as a two-step under the stars.
