Dazzling Evening Benefits STEM Education Programs At The Museum

THE SETTING: Chic and science collided as the Perot Museum of Nature and Science hosted its annual Night at the Museum gala, raising $2 million to support the Museum’s educational programs and expand STEM learning opportunities across North Texas. Co-chaired by Dr. Pamela J. Okada and Mark Okada, the event welcomed nearly 1000 guests for a memorable evening celebrating another remarkable year of impact. The event, thoughtfully designed by Valdivia Ventures, offered an immersive experience featuring live music, innovative food activations by exclusive catering partner, Wolfgang Puck Catering, and a captivating performance by dancers of Texas Ballet Theatre. 

THE VIBE: As guests explored the museum, they were greeted by hundreds of white orchids from Jackson Durham Events and serenaded by solo musicians provided by Jordan Khan Music Company in each exhibit hall. A highlight of the evening was the 10-Minute Tasting Restaurant, transforming the Museum store into a five-star dining experience.The evening concluded with an unforgettable after-party presented by the Eugene McDermott Foundation. Guests enjoyed immersive entertainment, iconic beats by DJ Romi Q, and a decadent dessert room featuring a variety of sweet treats.

THE NON-PROFIT: Funds raised from Night at the Museum will directly support the Perot Museum’s ongoing mission to expand STEM education and amplify its impact by supporting educational programs, funding day-to-day operations, and providing financial aid to ensure it remains a welcoming and inclusive space for all.
