THE SCENE: The Post Oak Hotel in Houston was the setting for a night to remember that celebrated a milestone of one of the city’s most beloved and anticipated social events. Over 450 of the city’s most notable sociables, animal lovers, and philanthropists supported the 20th annual Houston PetSet Fierce & Fabulous Soirée where guests were treated to a spectacular night of fun, touching tributes, and dazzling musical performances.
THE VIBE: The “Texas black-tie optional” crowd began the night in the foyer outside The Post Oak Ballroom for cocktail hour. Upon walking into the foyer, guests spotted a mix of black-tie attire, fringe, suede, leather, and turquoise, creating a festive, welcoming environment for all who attended. During the reception, VIPs seized the opportunity to attend a meet and greet with musical headliner Pat Green and perused an exquisitely curated live auction full of dazzling high-end items and experiences.
Revelers then headed into the ballroom for the main program where guests were treated to a multi-course meal. KHOU’s Great Day Houston host Deborah Duncan served as the evening’s emcee, entertaining the audience and keeping the festivities flowing at a brisk, fun place. Highlights of the program included a series of tributes and a spirited live auction helmed by Heath Hale of Cowboy Auctioneer who bid on items including tickets to Paris Fashion Week among other amazing items. The night was capped off with a concert by Country Music Star Pat Green, capping off a spectacular night that those fortunate enough to be a part of will not soon forget.

THE NON-PROFIT: The event, co-chaired by Tama Lundquist and Tena Lundquist Faust, raised over $1 million for Houston PetSet. Proceeds raised from the event will go toward local programming by supporting groups that make an impact in the Houston community for the animals.
