Spring Has Sprung With Festive Mid-Afternoon Offerings To Entice Your Palate

Mirador, the chic downtown Dallas culinary gem, is celebrated for its breathtaking views and culinary artistry. So, its new Spring Afternoon Tea Menu, with its meticulously crafted menu, promises an unparalleled journey of indulgence, perfectly suited for the warmer season’s festivities.

We love that the menu unfolds in three exquisite courses that are thoughtfully curated to elevate the traditional tea experience. Guests can begin with a Strawberry Orange BlossomScone, accompanied by cream and jam. The three courses and tea pairings that follow are a combination of savory and sweet flavors for all to enjoy. When you go, here’s what you’ll find:

First Course

  • Coronation Chicken: A classic favorite, a fusion of flavors with feuille de brick, golden raisins, and chervil.
  • Buñuelo: Indulge in the savory harmony of queso fresco, parmesan, and tapioca.
  • Sunflower Tart:A culinary masterpiece featuring sunchokes, sunflower seeds, and miso.

Second Course

  • Wagyu Sando: Savor the exquisite blend of spicy mayo, shiso, and milk bread.
  • Cucumber Gyoza: Enhanced with fines herbes and shiro dashi.
  • Salmon Rillette: Delight in the delicate balance of capers, dill, and tarragon.

Third Course

  • Rhubarb Tart: Indulge in the decadent pair of Earl Grey and caramelized honey mousse.
  • Brown Sugar Choux: A symphony of flavors with Caribe Chocolate and espresso cream.
  • White Chocolate Pistachio Macaroon: A sweet finale to savor and enjoy.

Teas

  • Covent Garden Morning, Black/Darjeeling: A blend from Mariages Frères, promising to awaken the senses.
  • Love-U-Mami, White/Green: A refreshing offering from Cultured Cup, perfect for spring.
  • Paris- Ginza, Black: Another gem from Mariages Frères, offering a taste of Parisian elegance.

“Several flavors from our opening menu remain for those who haven’t yet experienced tea at Mirador or aren’t ready to let go of their favorites. We’re delighted to introduce new dishes that celebrate the spring season,” shared Executive Chef Travis Wyatt.

Make your tea reservations that are available every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and can be booked with Resy. Furthermore, Mirador invites guests to secure patio reservations, which offer the perfect setting to enjoy the beauty of spring while indulging in Mirador’s Spring Tea experience, as well as for lunch and cocktails during the week. There’s also something or the kids, who are welcome to join tea with a special menu at $89 that includes bottomless chicken bites and a cuddly friend.  

In addition, Mirador, which is open5 p.m. Tuesday – Saturday, the four-story balcony overlooking Main Street at the venue is the perfect spot to enjoy the new Margarita Flight ($35) also available during both lunch and tea service. The Margarita Flight is a trio of the signature Mirador Margarita, Sabroso, and Indigo Smoke. So what are you waiting for?Located atop Forty Five Ten, Mirador boasts expansive downtown views through floor-to-ceiling windows and a wrap-around terrace overlooking the Eye sculpture. The bright and airy space that serves modern American cuisine, is the ideal setting to linger over lunch or brunch, enjoy afternoon tea, and stay for a cocktail in the adjacent lounge.
