Ascend Dallas Event Roars To Success

THE SETTING: The third annual bubbly brunch fundraiser, “Pop, Fizz, Clink! La Dolce Vita,” was recently held at the elegant Thompson Dallas. Embracing a vibrant Spring theme, the event featured lush floral décor, creating a perfect backdrop for this spirited gathering that supports Ascend Dallas each year.
THE VIBE: The annual Pop, Fizz, Clink fundraiser marked the official rebrand launch for Ascend, unveiling a new name and logo to supporters. Chaired by Dr. Tiffany Moon, Dr. Jessica Shepherd, and Honorary Chair Effie Dennison, the event celebrated empowerment. Regina Montoya also received the “Ebby Empowering Women Award.”
THE NON-PROFIT: The “Pop, Fizz, Clink!” fundraiser is designed to boost financial support for Ascend, an organization committed to aiding vulnerable groups such as communities of color, women with limited English proficiency, single-income households, those at risk of intimate partner violence, and individuals facing financial insecurity. This event focuses on gathering resources to empower these populations and strengthen their economic stability and safety.
