THE SETTING: Tannahill’s Tavern and Music Hall in Fort Worth was the setting for an event that has quickly become the hottest ticket in Cowtown. Several hundred of the area’s most notable community leaders, sociables, and philanthropists were on hand for the third annual The Big Good for an unforgettable night of good food, great music, and an incredible seven-figure fundraising haul.

THE VIBE: The crowd dressed in their best cowboy-chic attire with an elegant mix of dresses, sportscoats, hats, and boots creating a welcoming environment for all who attended. The fun began the moment guests walked into the door and were treated to beautiful vocals from artist Olivia Harms. After revelers cozied up to the bar to grab a cocktail, they perused an impressive silent auction that featured gifts donated by many of Fort Worth’s top merchants including M.L. Leddy’s, Bachendorf’s, Don Artemio, and Canyon Ranch.

Partygoers then took to their seats for the main program. As guests dined on a delectable meal, they were treated to a live auction…with the most coveted item being a trip to see Coldplay perform live in Dublin and a visit to Palmaz Vineyard’s underground winery in Napa. Kelsey Patterson then took to the stage to announce a community-matched fund-a-need where The Rainwater Foundation provided a $500,000 match.. The audience was also treated to words from Gary Patterson and Leon Bridges with Bridges capping off the evening with a concert where revelers danced the night away to his iconic tunes.

THE NON-PROFIT: The third annual The Big Good raised over $1.3 million for the organization. Founded by Gary and Kelsey Patterson & Leon Bridges, The Big Good works with North Texas community leaders to assess developing needs within the growing North Texas Community. Beneficiary nonprofits of The Big Good include the Tarrant County To and Through Partnership, United Community Center, and UpSpire.
