The Adderley School For The Performing Arts Hosts Star-Studded 30th Anniversary Soiree

THE SCENE: The Lobero Theatre in Santa Barbara was perfect for a star-studded night that celebrated a performing arts institution that has roots in Texas and has nurtured the talent of household names that have positively impacted millions of people. Hundreds turned out to celebrate The Adderley School for the Performing Arts’ 30th anniversary celebration in a night that included emotional tributes and dazzling performances that showcased how the power of art has the ability to inspire and shape lives. The organization was founded by Janet Adderley.
THE VIBE: The spring chic-attired crowd began the evening with a VIP reception where patrons had the opportunity to mingle with school leaders as well as some of the celebrity names that were a part of the evening including emcee James Corden. The action then moved to the red carpet, where patrons glimpsed the arrivals of notable Adderley School alumni including Jack Dylan Grazer and Marissa Reyes.
Revelers then took to their seats for the performance and program. Late-night T.V. legend and Master of Ceremonies James Corden effortlessly kept the festivities flowing throughout the evening, often with his trademark humor. During the event patrons were treated to a series of performances by current and former Adderley School students. Additionally, guests were treated to a concert performance by Grammy Award winning artist Kenny Loggins, who brought the crowd to their feet with performances of some of his iconic tunes.
THE NON PROFIT: The event raised funds for The Adderley School for the Performing Arts. Celebrating its 30th anniversary with five locations throughout the United States, including one in Austin, the school provides musical and theater enrichment programs for children to instill confidence in them so that they can become confident adults.
