THE SETTING: Over 300 fashionable guests packed the Thompson Hotel ballroom in Dallas for the Fashion Group International of Dallas (FGI Dallas) Night of Stars annual gala. Gala chairs Ken Weber, Richard Rivas and Cristina Graham hosted attendees for an evening filled with some of Dallas’ favorite people who filled the venue to capacity.

THE VIBE:  The very fashionable evening had iconic guests from various creative industries united for a special cause, all of whom were honored for high achievements in fashion, design, and business. The philanthropists, business owners and influencers included Rodrigo Basilicati-Cardin, who was awarded the Lifetime Achievement in Fashion, Levi Palmer and Matthew Harding who were awarded the Career Achievement in Design, and Fern Mallis was awarded the Icon of Innovation award.

THE NON-PROFIT:  Funds were raised for student scholarships with a fashion show presentation by House of Pierre Cardin and palmer//harding, produced by the inimitable Jan Strimple Productions. FGI Dallas is part of Fashion Group International, Inc., a global, non-profit, professional organization with more than 6,000 members representing all areas of the fashion industry. The organization provides a high-profile forum to promote the fashion business by hosting events that educate and facilitate the exchange of ideas by giving back to the community.
